The charters are of state and land importance. Concerning the church history in the medieval period, there are archives of the Prague Archbishopric, archives of the Collegiate Chapter in Vysehrad, and the archives of the religious orders - the archives of the monasteries dissolved by Emperor Joseph II (1740- 1790), archives of some central-Bohemian monasteries, the Archives of the Franciscan Province etc. The fonds themselves can be looked up on the Internet, the actual documents can be searched only in the printed inventories in the archives.
